Marcio Decker's designs have been featured on HGTV, ElleDecor.com, Chairish.com and most recently at the Tahoe Quarterly 2023 Mountain Home Awards, where he won the Commercial Remodel Award, and at the CATT 2023 Awards where he was the Commercial Remodel of the Year winner.
Marcio is an interior designer and visual artist known for designing unique and high-end spaces. Since starting Aspen Leaf Interiors in 2004, he has been designing timeless and elegant homes throughout Lake Tahoe, Reno, the San Francisco bay area and beyond.
With a Master of Interior Architecture and Design degree from the Academy of Art in San Francisco Marcio’s education, artistic talent and sense of aesthetic frame his design approach of luxury spaces. His signature style is seen in the details: efficacious open spaces and the coherence of the entire interior envelope.
Marcio is inspired by travel and exploration of design hubs as well as the beautiful surroundings of Lake Tahoe. He enjoys abstract painting, curating artworks, yoga, tennis, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.

From traditional Lake Tahoe lakefronts and mountain modern homes to rustic contemporary lodges, mid-century modern spaces and large Spanish Colonial and transitional-style estates, our experience is diverse. We have designed primary and vacation homes in areas such as the exclusive M25 on the slopes of Northstar, Martis Camp and Mountainside at Northstar, San Francisco, Hillsborough and the Silicon Valley, as well as ski and golf properties at the bases of Palisades Tahoe and Northstar ski resorts.

We tried working with other designers on our major (to the studs/18 months of construction) remodel prior to Marcio, but he was THE ONE. He was exactly what we were looking for. He had an amazing ability to figure out what we were trying to accomplish and then design a beautiful and functional way to do it and in synch with other parts of our house. My husband and I met Marcio in 2004 when a friend recommended him for the tenant improvement designs for our business. Since that time, Marcio has completed various design projects for us including one small commercial office space, two large commercial office spaces, an HOA club house, a man cave, a lake house and a ranch house. We have used Marcio and Betty at Aspen Leaf for three projects. The most recent was a new house that they advised on from the beginning of planning.
